about Belle Walker
Belle Walker studied Design formally at West Surrey College of Art and Design, specialising in “Three Dimensional Design” - Glass.
Having completed an apprenticeship at a studio in Germany, she then went on to run a scholarship studio in the West Midlands for a year. It was here that she decided to set up and work as a hot glass designer and maker for 15 years. Her work sold both nationally and internationally and her reputation as a maker was enhanced around the world.
Belle became increasingly frustrated at the physical limitations that glass afforded to her designs and began to turn her attention to other mediums.
Wood has freed her into being able to make more living sculptural designs, where scale is not such an issue.

Belle's wood designs sell to galleries, private collectors and corporate bodies. She also participates in shows and exhibitions. She has undertaken Royal commissions, hotel and corporate work and art funded projects.
Belle is happy to undertake individual commissions and takes pleasure in discussing, then making designs for her clients. Work is shipped by courier around the U.K and internationally. Where necessary larger scale work will be fitted insitu in accordance with the maker and her clients.
