You find the handmade chair or sofa that you love and then you can choose from thousands of designer fabrics, we literally have got fabric books from all of the top fabric companies, click on “fabrics” on the main menu above and drool!
All of the upholstery is handmade on site and you can see our master upholsters working on your chair, sofa or stool through our fantastic new shop windows or come through to the workshop for a closer look.

At Belle Designs our interiors designers will sit you down and measure “you” so the sofa or chair is tailored to fit you perfectly. We specialize in making bespoke furniture for the tall or small, to fit in small rooms or large rooms, corner units or tight spaces. We can make the furniture so it can be taken apart and re-assembled once through small doors or stairs.
Belle Designs has designed a back coil springing system for people with back problems. The system is only found at belle designs and give’s your lower back and neck the support it requires to keep your spine in its correct position when sitting.

Belle designs specialise in all aspects of upholstery; restoration, contemporary and commercial. Our master crafts men will pick up your upholstery and transport it to our workshop on the Suffolk/Essex border where our master crafts men will carefully strip your piece of upholstery down, taking time to examine how your piece was made and will recognise if your furniture has been altered at any time over the years and reupholster the piece to a high quality finish. Your upholstered furniture is carefully delivered back to you and our work is not complete unless you are 100% happy.

We are always on hand with a warm welcome and expert advice and specialise in matching our client’s desires and needs.
